Easter at ACCC.
Our Easter Events
Lent is the 40 days leading up to Easter, commemorating the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness fasting and praying preparing for his public ministry. Choose a step in your faith to be intentional about and join us Thursdays at 6:15 pm for discussion questions tailored towards this special time.
Lent, February 18th-April 2nd
Maundy Thursday, April 2nd at 5:30 p.m.
Maundy Thursday (meaning Holy Thursday) honors the Last Supper that Jesus had with his disciples. The Last Supper is packed with important lessons and powerful symbolism that we will all explore together. We will begin the night with dinner at 5:30 and enjoy corporate worship, Communion and study all together.
Good Friday, April 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
Join us for a reflective service that is focused on the sacrifice that Jesus paid on the cross for us. The triumph of Easter can only happen because Christ put to death the power of sin and death on the cross, so let’s celebrate and remember that in communal worship together.
Easter Service, April 5th at 10:00 a.m.
He is risen! Join us in a celebratory Sunday service as we rejoice in Jesus’ resurrection and the significance His salvation has in our lives! In addition to the normal Sunday activities (worship songs, a relevant message and children’s programs) we will have an Easter Egg Hunt and a free lunch for all after the service. We look forward to having you here to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior!
