Noah’s Ark Christian Preschool

Noah’s Ark Christian School began out of the vision of the original members of American Canyon Community Church to fulfill the community’s need for outstanding early childhood education. Chartered in 1971, Noah’s Ark is the longest operating preschool facility in American Canyon. Since then, we have served generations of families in American Canyon (and beyond), offering excellence both in quality childcare and age appropriate education. This commitment and belief continues today.

Our mission is to provide excellent care in a positive environment, where children can develop self-confidence while gaining the academic skills needed through quality Christian education, and to share God’s love for the children of American Canyon and the surrounding communities.

Noah’s Ark Christian School is a year-round state licensed non-profit tuition-based school for children 2 to 6 years old.

We believe that the family is the child’s primary and most important teacher. We are here to help prepare children for their next educational environment while providing respect and care that nurtures social and self-care skills. Our role is to support and assist the family in this endeavor.

We believe that each child is a gift from God and Is unique. At Noah’s Ark we seek to respect and nurture the whole child. We understand they have emotional, physical, social, creative, cognitive and spiritual needs that are integrally related to each other.

We offer diverse activities, both teacher-directed and child-directed, allowing your child to engage at a developmentally appropriate level. We believe children are natural learners who seek to understand and explore their world. When they are allowed to do so, they develop a strong sense of self, confidence and readiness for their future.

Noah’s Ark continually pursues to provide an enjoyable and safe environment where children know that God loves them and can gain knowledge and skills that are necessary for success in their next educational environment.
